What personal data aisocius.eu processes, why, and what your rights are

    Last updated: 30 September 2026

    Who is responsible

AISocius is run by Ricardo Slagter as a sole proprietorship (enskild firma) in Sweden. He is the controller for the personal data described here.

    What we process and why

We only process what is needed for the part of the site you use.

    • Account: your e-mail address and a password, which is stored only as a hash, so you can log in. Basis: the agreement to use the site.
    • Academy: the name you enter, your language, your situation, occupation and learning goals, and your progress and answers in the lessons. We use this to give you fitting examples and to keep track of where you are. Basis: the agreement to use the Academy.
    • Certificates: your name and, if you give it, your e-mail address, with the workshop and its date, so a certificate can be issued and checked. Basis: the agreement to take part.
    • Newsletter: your e-mail address, and your name if you give it. Basis: your consent. You can unsubscribe at any time.
    • Contact: what you send us by e-mail, so we can answer. Basis: our legitimate interest in handling your question.
    • Technical data: our hosting and database providers process your IP address to deliver the pages and protect the service. Basis: our legitimate interest in a working and secure site.

    What we do not do

No analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, no profiling and no sale of data. The weekly newsstand editions are written with AI from public YouTube videos; no personal data of visitors is used for them.

    Who processes data for us

We share personal data only with these providers, who process it on our behalf:

    • Supabase (database and login): the data is stored in the EU (Ireland). Supabase Inc. is a company in the United States.
    • Hetzner Online (hosting of the website): Germany.
    • Hostinger (e-mail).
    • Resend (sending newsletter e-mails): a company in the United States.

    How long we keep it

    • Account and Academy data: as long as you have an account. After you ask us to delete your account, it is removed within 30 days.
    • Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Your address is removed within 30 days after that.
    • Certificates: as long as the certificate has to be verifiable, or until you ask us to remove it.
    • E-mail: as long as needed to handle your request.

    Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

    • see the personal data we hold about you
    • have incorrect data corrected
    • have your data erased
    • restrict the processing
